so there is popcorn left over from when marty and allison were here - in my mind, how hard is it to make popcorn.... well it started just fine - some oil in the pan with the corn - going well, taking a while tho, and then it starts popping - and not just a little bit, but all over the kitchen - flying everywhere (i did not realize it quite did that - call me nieve i suppose!)... anyhow it was quite funny - including popped corn everywhere, and me taking the pan off the burner and having corn fly onto the hot burner and catching on fire... it must have looked to an observer as though i was rehearsing for a 3 stooges script, specifically for the role of curly i would think...
i did manage to salvage a bit of the treat and am enjoying it more than i have ever enjoyed popcorn in my life!

TJ, That is too funny. I'm getting such a kick out of that story because it was always a family joke when I was growing up how my mother put the oil and corn in a pot, left the room without putting the lid on and came back to find the popcorn all over the kitchen. Think microwave.
