I also like the look of the picture. Are the flowers edible? I think that Tom from Top Chef would agree that the presentation of the food (minus) the ants)deserves a "thumb's up" for eye appeal.
I really liked the presentation of the offerings.....the colors and mixtures of different textures.....I was disappointed that the ants were eating it up.....maybe a little chocolate drizzle and who knows????? billy pilgrim.....I know who you are.....lol

aunty lainey....of course they are ants...or aunts? offerings to the gods! those are frequent sites in bali....
as i understand it they are offerings to the gods and demons...
the ants crawling around this place sure seem like demons to me from time to time!
