Uluwatu as you can see in these current photos I snapped off down there this morning was breaking very nicely in the 2-3ft+ range on the Main Peak straight out front of the cliff side cafĂ©’s. When I arrived around 9.00AM there would have been lucky to have been 20 surfers in the water and by the time I left at 12.00 noon there would have been around 35. Today’s standout local surfer was an old friend of mine Wayan “Gobleg” Something I haven’t seen at Ulu bfor a long time was a 12-15ft+ Tiger shark cruising around about 300-500mtrs behind the surfers, un be known of course. But I don’t think there was any real danger…. As there were Spanish Mackeral galore jumping out of the water in the same vicinity.
ran out of time for my photo day, maybe ill take a few hours this afternoon to get some shots...
need to d
o some work too though... but can certainly work at night..well, took one pic - here is me, in focus (somewhat back focused actually, but probably can not tell from this view) scrapping wax fixing boards for tomorrows flight....
